70,000 Tons of Filth

Focus on Extreme Metal
Another episode of Focus on Extreme Metal

This episode starts off cold with the darkness of Cradle of Filth, featuring and interview with guitarist Paul Allender. He talks about his musical influences growing up, his hiatus from the band when Cradle rose above underground and he also talks about the new album, Darkly, Darkly Venus Aversa. We then switch scenery, because we find a need to escape a cold winter snap that brings sickness and despair to the Extreme Pair. We take this opportunity to warm up and talk exotic metal with Rob Cranny (Northern Storm Records) who has been to four Wacken Open Air festivals as well as the newest and coolest fest, The “70,000 tons of Metal”, a four day cruise that took 2,000 lucky metalheads and 40 metal bands on a journey nobody is likely to ever forget. We talk to Rob about the experience of sharing a large cruise ship with devoted metalheads and non-stop music coming from three stages on board of 70,000 tons of metal. Our new episode also features Metal Swapping (featuring Into Eternity and Canvas Solaris), New Releases, Tour Report, Metal Birthdays and much more including music from Cradle of Filth, Hatriot, Rob’s label representatives Profaner and a brand new track from the new Deicide album. As always, we are looking for bloggers and other content providers to join our team, we also appreciate your iTunes reviews and ratings.
Keep it hot and keep it brutal.
