Tom Gabriel Fischer is a very influential musician. He may not agree with that, but extreme metal beginnings started with this mastermind’s visions. We talk to Tom from his Swiss home and get an insight on his current musical endeavours with Triptykon, past work with legendary Celtic Frost as well as his creative collaboration with famous surrealist painter Giger. In the very first episode hosted by the “Extreme Pair”, Dario has a bit of fun with trying to identify the 14 most influential extreme metal bands of the 80s as picked by Mandy. If he correctly identifies at least 10 out of 14, Mandy promises to bake him something metal and forever immortalize the process with video.
