EP532 – Maiden 80-82
So sometime over the winter I had this idea of reprising what we did with the Saxon catalog but with another legendary British band, Iron Maiden. I had this rather grandiose thought of 2022 being the year of Maiden. Yep I was getting pretty damn fired up on this whole deal. So cut to April and we are finally getting around to the first foray. This week we’ll chat about the first three Maiden studio albums, Iron Maiden, Killers and Number of The Beast. I expect this will develop a bit more as we go through the catalog. Definitely not he definitive critical review, just two metalheads talking about Maiden circa 80 to 82. And in case you’re curious, I consumed Trooper Fear of The Dark during the discussion and original Trooper during the editing and mixing.
